After I was diagnosed type 2 diabetic and my CGM would give me low glucose alarms, my husband found glucose gummies at the pharmacy and I tried those for a little while… but they didn’t do anything to raise my glucose and they tasted awful too!! Given my disabilities… these gels are easy to use and manageable in the middle of the night and I don’t feel the need to brush my teeth after using one!!They are also pretty tasty!! I don’t mind needing to use one like I did with gummies!!I will suggest to anyone out there to give these a try, you won’t be disappointed!! These are perfect for throwing in our bags or keeping near the bedside for low blood sugars for our T1D son. They're quick and easy to get down, even when he's groggy with sleep or feeling confused when his sugar is low. Kind of pricey, but worth it for convenience, especially when they're needed immediately.
