Heart palpitations but still giving 5 stars coz it worked as it said, This is a very nice product it works for sure, but the dosage is very high for me, but if you have Medical condition like gall bladder removed, then 500mg could work wonders for you, but for people who just want to kick start their sluggish digestion process, I would say half the dose is good enough.Coming to my experience, right before my dinner around 8pm I took some Betaine HCL, and 5 mins after my dinner I took 1 Pill of OX Bile 500MG ,after like 30-45 mins I felt something is working, it felt good, then an hour later a little bloating and tightness happened nothing serious, I thought it might be part of the process, around 11pm I went to bed and woke up from sleep at 12:45AM with noticeable heart palpitations and lot of Confidence, I know it's weird I felt pretty good, while the heart palpitations felt like a very strong cup of coffee, (also I had 4 cups of coffee in total that day which is the highest ever for me), I felt like I should go for a Run or tidy up my home, It felt good and wild, it's been a while feeling this way, by body warmth is back I felt warm and little sweaty.I also felt how potent this is, if you are a worry some person, this could feel like panic attack or a heart attack, for me the palpitations stayed for about 5 mins, then came back to normal within about 45 mins, I fell back in to sleep and I slept very deep. I woke up with a tight stomach not too bad but noticeable, it's slowly coming to normal. I'm gonna experiment with taking half of this pill 1 hour after dinner, so that stomach will have time to digest the food for a bit and Ox bile can come in and do it's job, it's an alkalizer like a detergent, it's gonna clean up and extract the fat soluble nutrients from food and also neutralize the stomach acid.Stomach Acid and bile salts will need some experimentation before we get it right, so my recommendation is start low.

AFTER HAVING MY GALLBLADDER REMOVED ABOUT 6 WEEKS AGO AND READ AND HEARD THAT IF YOU EAT THE WRONG STUFF YOU WILL SUFFER. I WAS SCARED INTO FINDING SOMETHING THAT MAY HELP DIGEST FOODS THAT CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS. AFTER THE REMOVAL I WAS PARANOID ABOUT WHAT FOODS TO EAT. WELL AFTER USING THIS I AM STILL CUTTING OUT FATS BUT ABOUT THE ONLY THING I HAVEN'T EATEN IS PIZZA. I JUST TAKE ONE PILL DURING MEALS THAT MAY CAUSE DIGESTION PROBLEMS.I ONLY HAD ONE BOUT OF STOMACH GAS (KEPT ME UP MOST OF NITE). I TOOK A GAS RELIEF PILL BUT THAT TAKES ABOUT AN HOUR OF SO TO HELP. I TOLD MY DOCTOR I AM TAKING OX BILE BUT MADE NO COMMENT. I GUESS IF ITS NOT A CHEMICAL PILL THEY DON'T GET INVOLVED BUT SHE DIDN'T SAY NOT TO. GIVE IT A TRY!!

Purchased after reviewing many products for my son after he had his gallbladder out. This was a great find, helps his digestion tremendously!

Helps with digestion

The product worked as intended, after just one capsule i felt a drastic improvement with digestion the next morning, but it gave me heart ache and high blood pressure, some stomach ache as well, which does happen to some people, I read, so be careful. The dose of 500 mg is very high for me, I will try lower doses and only occasionally, but given the initial reaction I had, it is probably safer for me to use apple cider vinegar, which helps with digestive issues, but not as greatly as ox bile, unfortunately.

Decently priced ox bile supplements when compared to most other brands. I find that these work best for my digestion when taken after a fat containing meal.

Beware!!! Look into this before using! I suffered severe constricting heart pain/ pressure from using this and loss of proper blood flow to my limbs. I used for a week before remembering another review with the same warning and connecting that it was likely due to the ox bile. I researched and quit taking it. The symptoms went away! I only had the symptoms the duration I took these. I've used a much lower dose of ox bile before with no problems. This is WAY too high. I thought I was going to have a heart attack! THANK YOU to the other reviewer that jogged my memory and clued me in!!!! I generally don't write reviews but, after this experience, I feel obligated to warn others.
