I've used this for at least 2 meals a day for 3 months. I'm giving it a 4 because it only has one speed and that speed is extremely fast. Which is fine for pureeing watery foods (where you probably add some more water anyways) like soft cooked vegetables and canned fruits, and soft fresh fruit. if it had the option of a slower speed it would do better at pureeing things that are going to come a little thicker, like meat, cooked potatoes. I admit I understand this is for making baby food, but my need is to make pureed food for an adult, this fits the bill for that in all respects except the lack of speed choices. I bought extra small canisters and blades for them, so I can puree a day of meals without having to make things one at a time, and clean in between. I do like that they sell parts separately.

Yes, I have a mom who treats her cat like royalty. That cat is THE MOST IMPORTANT being in the house (from her perspective). She uses a combination of Sheba cat food, Friskies Lil' Gravies, and water and mixes it all in this little baby food bullet to come up with a milkshake consistency which she swears is the only way the cat will eat. Before getting this, she used a baby fork and did it all by hand. This is so much better for all of us because the kitchen is not taken up for the 45 minute catfood prep which is now a mere 10 minutes (including getting all of the ingredients together.Given how it works for the cat's food, I am certain that it would work similarly for baby food.
