SUNKEN/ATROPHIC SCARS CURED!
This is the first review Iāve ever left on amazon. For this product, I just had to. Iāll start with my skin history before getting to the feedback. So I had cystic acne scarring COMBINED with sun damage. I had a sudden, horrible acne flare-up when I was 17; white heads, blackheads, cysts, postulates, everything. It was so bad, I had to get on accutane. Before getting on it, I was obsessed with tanning. I would tan every single day. Now this wouldnāt NECESSARILY be bad for my acne or my skin in general... however, it was MY actions that made it worse. I had a bad habit of picking at my skin, popping zits before they were ready, peeling little scabs off my face, overtreating pimples that were forming under the surface. My other mistake when tanning was my lack of sunscreen on my face. I would just lay there without putting a towel on my face or sunscreen, thinking it would improve my breakouts, or heal my open wounds from picking off my pimples until they drew blood. Now after doing all this, what the sun did was STOP the healing process and deepen the acne scars. Deepen the atrophic scars, and darken the hyperpigmentation. I didnāt even know how much it damaged my skin until the tan faded and I saw what my bad habit + the sun exposure, had left behind. My god, was it bad... now after waiting quite some time (about 1-2 years), the discoloration definitely faded drastically. That just came with time. BUT... what had not faded was the indentations left on my face. I tried for almost 3 years to get rid of the sunken scars, the atrophic scars seemed impossible to get rid of. Alpha hydrox definitely helped a little bit. AMBI cream couldnāt do much. No progress with vitamin E, vitamin C serum (by itself), Bio Oil, exfoliants, face masks. Nothing was TRULY getting the job done.. and THEN I find thisI had heard about Derma rollers before but was afraid to try. THANK GOD I faced that fear. The first time I used it, I donāt think I used it properly. I didnāt use enough pressure to make a difference. So then the second time I tried it, I was much more ambitious with the pressure. Afterwards I put on the Vitamin C serum, then went to bed.I woke up the next day and OH MY GOD. I was completely floored how different my skin looked. My sunken scars were 70% gone. In ONE night, I had seen more progress than I had in THREE years. This is a miracle. I canāt believe it. My skin was smoother than it had ever been, the texture was so even. Iām so happy. People with indentations and atrophic scars, THIS IS YOUR HOLY GRAIL.

Great skincare on a budget
Within two weeks, I saw noticeable results. I use every other day, even though it suggests once a week. I use the roller, vitamin C serum, and a light moisturizer. (I also take collagen and drink 100 oz of water a day.)

And I gotta say its amazing!!
I've been wanting an amp roller for a while but didn't want to spend over a hundred dollars (rodan and fields). Turns out i found this and had to try it because of the reviews. And I gotta say its amazing!!! I didn't think it was working but I took pictures only 2 weeks ago and I definitely see results! I love it!!! Definitely recommend it!!ššš

Crazy Effective
I've been trying to speed healing from a really devastating outbreak of cystic acne, deep, dark, and lingering scars. (Spoiler alert: it's dairy. If you're having horrific adult hormonal cystic acne, try eliminating dairy for a month. While it's rough to give up cheese, it's better than painful outbreaks you can't cover with makeup and destroyed self-esteem, let alone spending hundreds on products that do jack all.) The older I get, the longer my skin takes to heal, it's brutal. I bought this on a whim and goodness, it's awesome. I'm alternating with my retinol gel since you can't use them in combination. I have wildly sensitive skin and this hasn't aggravated it. As another reviewer mentioned, clean before & after with rubbing alcohol. I have been liberally applying rosehip oil, "rollering" my face, then applying more rosehip oil, or a combination of tamanu oil (if my rosacea is acting up) and rosehip oil. I'm happy with my impulse buy as it has noticeably sped up my healing process. Indentations are filling in, raised patches are flattening out, and dark spots are lightening up. Get after your self care! Find out which foods are destroying your life, eliminate the irritants, and get products that are simple, natural, and help you get your life back. Good luck and much love, B.

I'm using this roller weekly and seeing some positive changes!
I first ordered this roller after having a professional micro needling treatment. I was happy with the results, but the treatments were quite expensive. This roller is very easy to use. It says you can use the roller up to three times a week, but I am using it once a week right now. I disinfect it with rubbing alcohol before and after using it. It does cause a minor needle-like sensation while rolling. It is definitely not bad. The needles are not long enough to cause any bleeding, but my face is definitely red after using the roller. I usually use it at night before going to bed. I wash my face really well. Then I spread either Vitamin C serum or a firming serum on my skin. (I have included links to both of those products.) I roll the Derma Roller over the serum to help push it into my skin. When I finish, I spread another thin layer of product on my skin. I have found that my skin is less red and blotchy than before I use the roller. (Except, of course, for the initial redness.) The theory is that the tiny wounds caused by the needles encourage your body to produce collagen in that area. My skin seems more firmed and hydrated. I am also seeing some reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. I was skeptical at first, but I think that this roller, along with the two serums I am using, is making a positive difference in my skin! Great derma roller for beginners and for getting your favourite serums deeper into the skin
I have only used this roller once so far last night. I followed all the cleaning, sanitizing and skin prep before rolling on my face for the first time. Do your research on all of this, trust me, its worth it!Upon first opening I noticed the unit was sealed in a hygienic manner and its sturdy with a good even weight. Packaging is just a clear plastic box which does the job, also comes in a smart looking cardboard box with a small leaflet. So I soaked the roller in isopropyl alcohol even though it was a sealed unit, don't risk it as it can cause infection. You want to make sure your environment is sanitary also. You will need paper towels to dry hands and face as towels can carry bacteria etc. All these precautions are recommended to minimize infection risk. I mean, you are basically sticking tiny needles in your face, let's do it properly eh?!So my roller had been left to dry in its box after soaking in the isopropyl for 30 minutes (I'm over precautious to be fair haha) and in the meantime I'd cleansed my face completely, also washed with a detol soap and used a cotton pad to rub a little watered down isopropyl on my face just to make sure I had a hygienic surface. I used paper towels to dry after as they are more hygienic than regular towels which are basically a breeding ground for bacteria š¤¢I'd watched a lot of videos on the best technique for rolling and I HIGHLY recommend doing the same because it's a better way of grasping the technique.Apparently if you do it wrong its pretty useless and even potentially dangerous as a treatment. I wont explain the technique on here because honestly, you're better watching on YouTube, plus it will make for a very long review haha!!So how did it feel. I went for the 0.25mm needle which is one of the lowest lengths you can use.As I've never done this before I wanted to start low and build up over a few months. The needles are really small but believe me, you absolutely can feel them. Not how I expected, felt more like a minor cat scratch than a stab, immediately after a few rolls over my skin it went red like sunburn. My face felt really hot which is a good sign. This lasted for a couple of hours and every so often it felt a bit tingly and prickly too. Nothing I couldn't handle though and I was only on the sofa watching tv so it didn't matter (you may want to do this on a night when you're off work for a day or two, just to make sure you have no adverse reactions which is unlikely if you follow the safety precautions etc)I didn't find it painful, but it's a little uncomfortable at worst. Though it depends on your pain tolerance, mine is high to be fair.So after I rolled my entire face, which took me around 10 minutes, I slathered on some hyaluronic serum (I also have a vitamin c serum on it's way as this is amazing for after derma rolling) you will want to avoid anything with retinol for a few days after, apparently it may be too much for the skin to handle so best play it safe!!For the first hour after derma rolling your skin will be ripe for any moisture you put on it. It will go deeper into the skin so rejuvenating serums and oils are a good choice. Do your research and find what is best for you, its worth it.I followed with a rescue oil which I love (it's like bio oil but a little cheaper) my skin lapped up the moisture and it felt very soothing after the treatment.Fast forward to the next day. My skin feels a little bit sore on my cheeks. It also feels tighter and feels very soft. I know it takes months of regular use to see results so I'm getting my patient hat on, and I'm going to persevere with my new regime.I plan to roll a couple of times a week and I'm already buying a 0.5mm roller because I have a few fine lines and acne scars etc. 0.25mm is good to start with and get to know the technique, but if you want collagen stimulation and all the other good stuff, 0.5mm is optimal. Apparently anything higher than this at home can be dangerous, so I'm following the advice. Can I recommend this product. 100% yes so far. It's a good unit for the price and it's got me into derma rolling. You will need to change the roller regularly. 1-3 months or 10-15 uses. This is cheap enough that this is possible. NEVER share your roller with anyone else, this is really dangerous and an infection risk. It's all yours and yours alone!Do your research, do a bit more and educate yourself about hygiene, sanitizing and technique and you'll be doing salon grade (well nearly haha) treatments at home for a fraction of the cost. Who doesn't love that.Happy rolling my friends. Just be prepared for feeling like you've spent too long in the sun, only this burn is actually not damaging, bring on the collagen boost baby š

MIND BLOWING!!
I am completely shook ! I cannot believe what an impact this face roller has over the skin !! No one is paying me to post such review but God damn it this absolutely insane ! I got this face roller on Monday and today is Thursday and looking into the mirror all I can say is that I'm blown away by this face roller ! I use it after I wash my face and before using it I clean with a sanitising lotion to make sure I am keeping any bacteria away . As a must you need to use a Vitamin C serum due to the fact that your skin might get irritated a bit and Vitamin C is calming down any irritation or red skin .You can see results in just couple of days as I noticed on my own face .I know it's a bit uncomfortable to feel those little needles on your skin but nothing to worry about it .It's a must have in your skincare routine if you want to get rid off all the acnee scars and wrinkles also .By far is the best product I have ever purchased on Amazon

First derma roller and it's amazing!
Can't recommend this derma roller enough. I have been looking for a derma roller for ages and settled on this after watching Trinny London's review of it. It's a great first derma roller, use it 2-3 times a week and have noticed a big difference in my acne scarring and wrinkles only a few weeks in. Such good value. I used the 0.3mm but will probably step up in a few months and potentially use on the back of my thighs. I bought the vitamin c serum with it and would highly recommend purchasing with it.

It's ok
So I didn't realise that this was only a 0.25mm product and really 0.5mm is what will make a difference and promote the skin to make collagen. That being said it's easy to use although came without instructions, so watch some YouTube videos. What would be good is if it came as a bundle with cleaning solution to sterilise after each use.

High quality product worth purchasing
High quality product, easy to use and worth the purchase. Have used 3 times within the first week (0.25mm is safe for regular use) and already noticing a difference in my skins texture and appearance.
