I anticipated that once again no one loves me enough to remember my birthday or get me a cake even though three people promised this year. So instead of crying on my birthday alone, I planned ahead and got to cry on my birthday alone while eating this entire cake.

In May we had a family member's birthday. I ordered this cake. It was very nice for being a frozen cake. I left it in the refrigerator to thaw for 24 hours. It was soft, moist, very tasty.In the middle of Shelter-in-place, this was heaven sent. It helped us to celebrate the birthday and bring normalcy in the midst of unprecedented difficult times. So I want to thank the people at The Original Cakerie. THANK YOU.

I needed chocolate I needed comfort food. It Satisfied. I will be a good adult now

This is the best gluten free cake I’ve ever had. Seriously. Don’t be tempted to eat it slightly frozen like I usually do, the texture is worth the wait. Once it thaws the cake is moist and delicate, the cream is smooth and silky and the brownie pieces are dense and chewy in the best possible way. It’s a darn good cake! You know what makes it so good? It’s full of crap ingredients! lol Seriously, if I had ever read the ingredients beyond “gluten free” and “brownie” I would never had purchased this. But I didn’t read. And it’s addictive. I’ll let it slide for special occasions.. once or twice a year.. but that’s it. It’s back to home made cupcakes when I get a cake craving, but I know this is out there calling my name. *sigh*

Gluten-free people: REJOICE!!!OH MY GOSH, IS THIS CAKE DELISH!!!As my headline says, when I had to go gluten-free in 2015, I found the world around me pretty empty of delicious GF foods. There were breads that tasted like fluffy cardboard ... that has improved over the years. There were cookies that tasted like fluffy cardboard with chocolate chips.... those have also improved over the years.But bakery items have remained a seemingly unimproved area ... UNTIL NOW!!This cake came frozen, and yeah, it looked good, but so do GF donuts, and I don't need to tell most of you in the GF world that looks can be deceiving.This is every bit as delish as it looks!! After it thawed for a little while, I took a forkful from the corner, just to taste it. All my tastebuds screamed for joy! I took another forkful, and then another ... I ate about 1/4 of the cake. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. Every part of it is superior. It's soft, it's moist, and it tasted just like the cakes the rest of the world gets to eat!! My family would never know the difference if I shared it with them, (which I do not plan to do, by the way.)I can't wait to try the other flavors! Yes, it was expensive, but to me, it was worth it! I'm telling my whole family that THIS has to be my birthday cake!So if you're GF, and have given up hope of delicious bakery food, BUY THIS!! I don't think you'll be disappointed!!

You have to be a bit careful when ordering gluten-free cakerie cake. They also make cake with gluten. Both the cakes and the containers can look just the same, so exercise caution.We regularly order three of the gluten-free cakes from this company:- strawberry- a cake with chocolate chips- a cake with lots of chocolate layersI'm not sure of all the names, but they are all outstanding. It just depends on what you're in the mood for.The cake is very rich, and we generally get about 6 or 8 slices out of each cake, more than you'd expect looking at it. I'd say that strawberry is my favorite. It's fantastic. But when I'm in the mood for chocolate, I also love the other two. Everyone in my house and all of the visitors we've fed this cake to have loved it.

This cake tastes like real cake which is definitely a texture I’ve been missing! The only problem is how ridiculously overpriced it is 😫 going to be a very rare treat

If I didn't eat the cake so quickly I probably would have taken a picture.The cake was so delicious, I was really was afraid it wasn't gluten free. I had two small bites and I said stop! Checking again to make sure this is gluten free, I even waited an hour to make sure my stomach didn't start hurting ( I have a severe problem) .This is the best cake I've tasted in over 10 years that I haven't made myself.It's about time we can finally get gluten-free snacks and cakes that taste this good, I will be ordering again!
