Great short bristle brush
Bought this for my husband and he loves it. It has short, soft bristles which are perfect for mens hair. Soft enought not to hurt his scalp, stong enough to get the job done. Very well made and high quality by Denman.

Great quality
Makes hair shiny. Would not work well for thick hair

Used on Thick/Kiny-Curly hair
My daughter and I have the toughest of hair. Its very thick and curly. This brush is the best brush we used so far. It slicks all of the curls and gives our hair an over all neat look.

Terrible quality
Bristles aren’t all straight or cut evenly. Terrible quality.

Nice brush
Bought this brush specifically for brushing out my hair after using hot rollers to get a 1940s-50s wave. It changed my hairstyle completely, allowing me to achieve a smooth look that regular nylon brushes couldn't compare to. Very happy with this brush! The only issue is a little bit of static, but I found that brushing slowly and using my hand following the brush helped prevent fly-aways.

Meh.
This brush is decent quality. The bristles are dense. When I use it I get major static, I have other boat bristle brushes and that doesn't happen. My hair is fairly straight and moderately thick. This brushes doesn't penetrate.

great boar brush
love it, 100% boar brushes are for brushing small sections of hair at a time. great for co or no poo hair. have the posh MP brush with boar and nylon too for daily styling. each have their different function and love both.

NOT for THICK CURLY HAIR
Advertised as "ideal for medium or thick hair. I suppose that depends on what you expect from an "ideal" brush. In my case, this brush is not even close to ideal. I have very dense curly hair. This brush does not go through the entire thickness all at once. I have to brush my hair in layers, and I still don't feel like it is really going through most of the hairs. I notice many people complain about the nylon bristles mixed in with the natural ones. I honestly don't see them or feel them, though I suspect the brush wouldn't work on my hair at all without the nylon bristles. I use this brush to distribute oil through my hair. It works, but it takes a long time lifting and brushing many layers of hair. I think I should have returned it. It might be okay for a finishing brush for a dog.
