High quality!
I am thoroughly impressed with this fire pit poker. I ordered two of the pokers - one for home and one for the country place. I presume that I bought the last two stainless steel pokers in stock - no more stainless steel units listed on Amazon, currently. I also presume the manganese steel units now listed are made with same size specs, etc. So, I would buy that poker too, had these not been available. They are very nice, heavy duty pokers - can't go wrong for the value!

Stainless steel?
Outside under a gazebo, it has rust specks on it. Doesn't bother me or the usefulness. Appears to not be (quality) stainless. Also it was not very expensive compared to some others. Good length. Hefty. Good enough for me and my intentions.

Better than expected.
I like that this is a one piece solid stainless steel bar. The only thing welded on is the hook and the weld looks decent. I know they had some pictures of pokers that were two pieces. Get the single piece it's well made.

Very heavy duty, but already rusting after a few weeks
Best fire poker I’ve found, but disappointed it’s rusting after a few weeks. Under cover on my back patio and never been wet so it’s rusting from humidity.
