Very comfortable and nice

First, the explanation: my wife and I needed/wanted to replace our 9 year old queen sized Tempurpedic mattress that we purchased new. It was incredibly comfortable and suited our needs very well. Our quality of sleep was fantastic, but we finally decided to treat ourselves for our wedding anniversary and get a king sized mattress. That's where the problem arose: the queen Tempurpedic was a ridiculous $2500 back then and still is. A king Tempurpedic is close to or at $3000. We don't have that kind of money and simply couldn't justify the expense.A friend purchased a memory foam mattress for about $750 from Costco several years ago and talked about how he and his wife compared it against Tempurpedic mattresses themselves and found little to no difference between the two. That got me thinking about whether or not there was a viable budget alternative to Tempurpedic that would give us the great quality of sleep, but without denting the family budget too badly.I researched several brands on Amazon but kept coming back to this Best Price mattress. Several other reviewers spoke of the quality of sleep an durability of the mattress for them. Several outlined their own research which led them to purchase this mattress. The $360 price tag was pretty compelling. I read dozens and dozens of reviews and finally decided that even if the mattress only lasts a year or two, the $360 price tag would prove worth it.The king sized mattress wasn't available with Prime shipping, but still arrived in about 4 days. My wife surprised me by setting it up herself. We slept on it the first night and had the predictable aches/tweaks I usually feel when sleeping on a new mattress for the first time. Still though, I realized I tossed and turned significantly less than we had on our Tempurpedic. The following night I found I didn't sleep like a baby (wake up crying every 2 hours, hungry, and covered in urine). I slept like a rock (laid there immobile and completely motionless). It was incredible. Each subsequent night has been more and more of the same!The longevity of this mattress has yet to be seen, but based on the current 3400+ reviews on here (approx. 85-90% of which are all 4-5 star reviews), I fully expect it will continue to meet and exceed our expectations. I will update this review in about 6-12 months to give an idea of the longevity of the mattress.BONUS: we had to decide what to do with our old queen Tempurpedic. We knew we could give it away on Craigslist, but I figured it couldn't hurt to try to sell it. My wife argued "who would ever buy a used mattress?" I figured it couldn't hurt and asked $150 for it on OfferUp. I had well over a dozen offers which actually resulted in a bidding war. $200 later I was a happy man, knowing I just paid for well over half of the cost of the newer/larger mattress.SUMMARY: for $360, you simply can't go wrong on this mattress. The comfort level is amazing. I have been plagued by back issues for years and go to the chiropractor at least twice per month. That helps enormously, but a good mattress is simply invaluable. My back hasn't felt this good for week straight in a LONG time. I am a happy happy man!

Just got this today, and so far it's fantastic. The box it came in was very heavy (we got a king) but unpacking it was easy enough. We were very careful to read the reviews about the mattress cover that came on it and the fiberglass issues some people have had. Right away put our own on as well, the one that zips around the entire bed, before it inflated. It's ventilated so it can still air out.There was no odor though, I know people complained about that, but I guess we were lucky. My husband said he faintly smelled something, but I couldn't smell anything at all.It inflated within 15 minutes of getting it. I used a tape measure and aside from a couple centimeters it is a true 12 inches.It is so comfortable. I suffer from back issues related to the mattress I currently have. I waited an hour, until I was sure it was inflated, laid on it, and felt my back finally have some relief. Of course, I will update within a month, because i want others to know how it sleeps after a few weeks, how it helps (or doesn't help) with pain, and how it holds up. I know most people wait 24 hours for it to air out and inflate before sleeping on it, but since it's already inflated and it has no odor I'm thinking I'll sleep on it tonight.Overall very excited about this.

The mattress has become a bit too firm, but we are liking it.Review as of 08/11/2017: 2 StarI am not sure if I got a defective item or if all the reviews don't really care for issues similar to mine.Need: We brought the King size because our current Sleep innovations Queen size doesn't satisfy the needs of our 1 year old sleep movements.After around 70 + hours of leaving the mattress to raise etc. its still not uniform in shape (Not a big concern for me as long as its comfortable)My major concern: Finally, when we slept on this mattress, it was comfortable initially. But, every time my kid moved, me and my wife could clearly sense the movements (Like spring mattress) noticeably annoying and we had a very tiresome night with many breaks. My understanding of Memory Foam is to get better comfort and less disturbance due to movement of your partner (that's exactly what my current 6 year old memory foam mattress does) (Our weights together less than 300 lb's)

To you the intrigued customer. 1. It was an early delivery 2. It was super simple to setup (unless you have a lift restriction) 3. Takes about 5 hours to fully inflate though after an hour its far more expanded 4. It does hug your body 6. Its firm but after 10 minutes you start to depress into the foam 7. Its super hot with three blankets on top of you and someone else in the bed with you. 8. My family and friends spent 3x's the amount of money i spent on sheets, platform frame, and this mattress. Im sure this isnt an easy choice especially buying it online. I assure you the horrible comments that are made about this bed were from those who did not research, who were not educated on memory foam, and had unrealistic expectations. To be fair there is a chance of poor handling to create the nightmares i read about. It is a knit covered memory foam pad. It IS NOT a traditional mattress material covered memory foam pad. Expect to not use as many blankets, expect it to be a different experience than inner-spring. Do your research, test mattresses in store, and then come back and make your decision. Its firm thats true but my back feels better, my legs feel better, and my quality of sleep has improved. Its a good value it isnt phenomenal, its great but not perfect, if you want a nice mattress at a great price my money went to this one. Cheers potential owner!
