CLASSICPet Products Classic Posh Paws Non Tip Dish, 500 ml, White

Just received this so this is not a review about how it performs long term. This is a cute bowl with good bold colours, has a non slip rubber underneath (don't know how it will be yet) I did have real trouble with the reviews as some said great/bad and i couldn't really gage just what size was suitable. This has be bought for a Lhasa Apso and I would say it's just about right for his size. I brought this in a large but I would say it's more medium to small, as you can see from my picture it's as big as the span of my hand. Will try to and update my review when I know how it performs.

Don't be fooled by the description of these as being dishwasher safe, they are anything but. This has happened after only a few washes on a low temperature wash. The lovely colour coating peels off, leaving you with plain metal bowls. Very disappointed! So, just a thin plastic coating.

I bought both the 240ml and the 500ml versions of this bowl, in red, white and graphite. I am very happy with my purchase.Our cat is getting old now and he seems to have developed whisker sensitivity which means that eating out of bowls is a real problem for him. The 500ml bowl is very shallow and wide and he seems to have little issues eating wet food from it. It easily holds half a standard pet food can so has plenty of room for his morning and evening feeds. The 240ml bowl we use for either putting treats in or for cat milk. Although this is tall and narrow because it is more of a eat and come again situation he seems to be able to work well with it.The rubber bases are very anti-slip and even on quite a slick surface they don't move when he's ploughing through his food. Undoubtedly this helps him more than it does us. The only problem we have encountered is trying to get them back up off the feeding surface after a few hours as they seem to almost create a vacuum beneath them. Some of the bowls have the word Classic etched on to the bottom. At first I thought this was a sticker and spent a little while trying to prise it out of the bottom of a 240ml bowl before I realised it was laser etched on. The colours are rich and do look attractive.Cleaning is a breeze, even if he doesn't finish eating until after the washing up so the bowl sits overnight even dried on jelly comes straight off with a dunking in hot, soapy water. The coloured outer also doesn't seem to be disturbed by handwashing.

I bought two of these Posh Paws dishes and didn't really expect much as the price was so good, but I have to say I am very impressed. They are sturdy easily cleanable and you can tell someone with pets had an input into their production when you see the rubber non-slip ring on the bottom of the dishes that stop them sliding around. If your dog is anything like mine it attacks dinner like a mad thing. His old dishes used to end up being pushed all around the kitchen but these ones stay put - excellent!I'd recommend these to anyone, and in fact already have.
