Utterly Amazing
This anamorphic lens is superb. I had no idea it would work as seamlessly as it did. I used Blackmagic pro which also has a de-squeezer option for 1.33 & 1.55x. The clips are fine and work quite well but I also purchased the case by asteroom for my iPhone 13 pro. They also sell them for the 15 pro. The lens, using this case was a doddle to use, and of course I am awfully impressed. I don't think this is something that requires too much thought muddling if you want to film in anamorphic. Ulanzi offers an excellent product as a massive price drop unlike some other brands. Hats off to amazon for creating these options and making them available.

Surprisingly effective little tool!
I shoot with DSLRs all the time for work so I’m usually iffy about shooting with a phone for anything professional. After messing around with this anamorphic lens adapter I was still a little dubious. I found in some test shots the curving of lines (which is an artifact of anamorphic shooting) was too much for my liking. BUT after really giving it a shot outdoors for some b-roll stuff I needed I’m convinced this little adapter is staying in my bag. I’d also purchase the phone case as it will save you time with putting the lens on and keeping it secure.

Not sharp. Way too much blur in shots.
I really like what an anamorphic lens can bring to the new iPhones. I got a special case to make sure this was aligned with my iPhone 13 pro Max lenses. The image quality is beyond subpar. It may be too late for me to get a refund because it took me a while to track down a proper case to mount this on. About 20 percent of the image on both left and right corner are completely blurred. So only 60 percent of the image which is center screen is sharp. And honestly even that isn’t that sharp. I will be spending the money and getting one of the more expensive lenses. You get what you pay for. But with this I didn’t even get that. This is a terrible lens. Or maybe I got a lemon. I will try to contact Ulanzi to see if it’s the lens they gave me or is this just how they were all constructed.

Fitment
If your phone has three cameras like the iPhone 13 Pro Max for example, no it won’t fit properly. The third camera lens will be in the way. Intended to fit phones with 1 to 2 cameras

Requires Skillful use
In order to get desirable results with this product, as well as with any of the other iPhone lenses I use, precision of placement is important in the overall quality of the photo and video

Just didn’t fit
I had to send this item back due to the fact that it wasn’t compatible with my rig. Seems like very nice quality

Cool item
I love the case that it's in, the quality of the lens, and the organization. Instead of clips, I wish it's had another way to stay on my phone. Magnets imo would be a better option so the clips would not be it the way. With the clip, the lens moves on its own.

Only if your output is WIDER than 16:9
If your aspect ratio is 16:9, then you need the 1.33x. Which Ulanzi no longer supports - I found one used on Poshmark. I think the manufacturer thinks 1.55x is wider so it's better and they stopped making the 1.33x, but the incompatibility is the reason why so many are noting warp and distortion. You need to set your aspect ratio wider than 16:9 with this, which means a very thin image unless you're planning on selling your video solely to IMAX and DOLBY screens. Which you're not. They're not buying. Also, I wouldn't use the clip mounts. They cause vignetting, distortion, and annoyance at fumbling. They are also not universal as the clip slants on the little platform your phone camera is elevated onto. Black Eye photo cases have 17mm threads over the camera sensors, and the smallrig universal is a great choice as well. Anything with a 17mm thread.
