My Big Animal Book

The book is brilliant, big pictures and labels. I really wanted a picture book with real pictures of animals for my daughter, lock down has meant we haven't seen any real animals and so this is a great way to get her familiar with them and then i can take it with me when we go to a zoo or something similar and she can match the images with the animals...hopefully. It is a large book though so maybe looked at in the car would be better. Either way excellent book.On the company i bought from - I bought the book listed as used but looks pretty much brand new. Speedy delivery too.

We love Priddy books, we have several of them. This one is not bad but it could be better, for example there are many pictures where you can see only a little part of the animal (mostly head), quite difficult to turn the pages. To my opinion 'My big world book' is better in this series and if you're looking for another (maybe better) animal picture book, there is another Priddy book: 'Happy Baby, Animals'. We have that book too and it's a great hit. Maybe it is more suitable for a baby/toddler. Anyway, this book is good (definitely worth buying it), but not an outstanding Priddy book (like many other books of Priddy).

Bought this for our then 8 month old baby girl, she's loved it since and now at 1 years old it's still her favourite book, but then she really does love animals! The pictures are clear and bright and there's captions to go with them, which is good for when your child is older, they'll be able to answer the questions. The book is quite big, so it's difficult to take away with us, but I think this makes it more appealing to a little one. It's big and clear which is what babies love!
