I'm transitioning to Zero Waste, so the packaging that these came in made ...
Bought these pads a few months back in August, so I have had some time to really break them in and write a review (which I've been so excited about!).I'm transitioning to Zero Waste, so the packaging that these came in made me happy. I did order other products at the same time, so everything came in a large box (less packaging, less jet fuel hahaha), and the individual box that these came in is also recyclable in my area. Pads came neatly rolled up and inside the box with instructions for how to use and launder them.I also chose organic reusable pads to help my with health, as some of you may already know that mainstream pads are processed and come with many harmful chemicals on them. Now with these, hygiene is very important! The maintenance may be what pushes some people away, but really it is just a small lifestyle change that leads to a healthier self. Right after I have used them for my period, I rinse them with COLD water first (never hot, hot water makes the stains stay) and then put them in a bowl of water with one part of white vinegar to help whiten the pads. Since these pads go into a very sensitive region, I use a homemade organic detergent (which I use for everything else anyway, but for those of you who prefer regular detergents an organic one may be better and safer for this). To prevent them from getting lost, I also wash them inside a mesh bag.Overall the product is very comfortable and I have been in love! Store-brand pads get a really bad smell and make me feel sweaty and uncomfortable down there, but these have been very helpful. I do wish the pads were a little thicker (they are fine for me but may be too thin for others), but maybe Hesta already has something like that (I will have to take a look!). I will be making my second purchase today, since I want to be able to use two pads a day to keep things clean. I highly recommend these and I hope you all pass on the word to friends and family or even give them to someone as a Christmas/birthday/bridal gift.

Short Story: These ROCK!
The short story is that these are really helpful liners. I got them for everyday use, and they are absolutely perfect. They don't ride up, they don't move around (even with exercise), they don't leak, and they are easy to wash. And the long story, for those of you who would like more detail when considering this product:I was looking for an every-day sort of liner to replace the disposable panty liners I'd been getting. I haven't used pads in years since I switched to menstrual cups and found that I didn't really have a need for anything so thick, and I've used liners ever since, both for menstrual use and daily use, so I was looking for something that would fill both roles. I was also looking for something that would make traveling abroad for several weeks and/or months more feasible than filling my pack with feminine products. I had tried other styles, but they were too bulky. These liners are perfect. They conform to my body well, they fit in my style of underwear really nicely without moving around, I haven't had any issues with leaking, and they're so comfy that I hardly even notice them anymore. I read reviews where people were having trouble with these shifting too much, but I personally have not had that issue (and I've been hiking and gone to yoga with these). It may just be my panties, but it may also be this product, which I would absolutely recommend to people looking for something similar to what I was looking for. These are also really easy to wash. I haven't had any trouble keeping them clean or any problems with staining. Some warm water and a little soap do the trick nicely. They air-dry pretty well too. Haven't thrown them in the laundry machine yet, I've just been washing them by hand.So that's the long story. If you're looking for a lightweight alternative to disposable liners for travel, or for environmental reasons, or just 'cause, then I would highly recommend these. No irritation, no waste, and a happy, healthy body! Hope this helps...

I love these pretty pantyliners!
Really beautiful cloth pads and so so soft! I've used the moon cup in the past (leaving behind tampons for quite a few years), but I've decided I don't like to put anything inside me, especially when I'm menstruating during my first few days and I'm feeling really tender and sensitive. It feels wrong to put something inside when I really want to let my blood flow freely. I really think this has reduced my pain, tenderness and cramping significantly. With these organic cloth pads, I feel like I'm just wearing my regular underwear. They're really comfortable, the designs are pretty and charming, and it's important that I use organic cotton next to such a delicate area (cotton is one of the most heavily sprayed with pesticides). After using, I soaked them overnight in cold water with a little Dr. Bronner's soap and hydrogen peroxide, and they came out completely stain free! I absolutely love these, and will buy again.

Feels like wearing an uncomfortable rag
I strive to reduce my carbon footprint and use products that are reusable. I would love to find a solution for all the plastic containers our food and personal care products come in. One step at a time, I guess. I use a diva cup and have long ditched tampons. However, I still use disposable pantyliners because really those silicone cups are not leak proof. I buy organic cotton pantyliners but one use items are such a waste. So I was excited to find these organic reusable pantyliners for my next cycle. I was a little concerned when the package arrived at how bulky the edges were. You definitely CANNOT wear these with any tight clothing. Even somewhat tight clothing will reveal that you are wearing pads. These feel bulky and obviously noticeable. I don't want to feel like I'm wearing a rag through out the day, but I would do so to do my part in helping the environment, but these are just too bulky and noticeable through clothes. I want to love them but I just can't. I am back to searching for a reusable organic cotton pantyliner.

Won’t last longer than a year
I’ve used 2 packs of 5 (10) of these (£50) for over a year now which works out to be roughly less than £1 a week. Unfortunately, a year on, the quality has deteriorated as the poppers no longer stay put. Four have now fallen into the toilet as I’ve gone to sit down - I’ve accidentally flushed one away, one fell into a portaloo and two I’ve had to retrieve from the toilet which wasn’t a nice experience. I was hoping to reduce waste but this now seems to be adding to my problem. I wash these on cold so as to preserve the materials. Not sure what to do now.

Nice quality and good impact on health and the environment
Feels nice because of the cotton. Can be a bit bulky and can sometimes leak into the wings. Price could be better!

Converted!
I love these for 5 reasons. They’re cotton and so gentle on skin, they also keep cool unlike fleece or synthetic material versions I’ve tried, they’re not too bulky (also long enough to do what I need them for), they’ve not let me down yet and they’re better for the environment if you’re trying to reduce your plastic use. Top tip if they annoyingly move up and down is to use a little double sided body (aka fashion) tape.
