Fantastic for replacing those old incandescent bulbs in your camper.
A few days ago I received my 57 LED Yorkim 1156 white bulbs, I ordered these to go in my camper. When camping “off the grid” we rely on propane to cook with, heat our water, and cool the refrigerator. For lighting, all the power comes from a 12 volt battery. After camping for several days, the battery tends to get week if we use our lights much. There are a total of 10 bulbs for indoor and outdoor lighting. All the bulbs are a standard 1156 automotive bulb. They tend to get pretty hot. When you have no AC you really don’t need any extra heat. The bulbs came well packaged to protect them during shipment. The bulbs came to me in perfect condition. There are LED chips all the way around and on the end as well. This ensures that there is equal lighting in all the directions that a typical incandescent bulb would emit. The bulbs are really easy and quick to replace. Simply turn counter clockwise, and unlatch the pins of the old bulb and put the new one back in the same way. These bulbs are so much brighter than the incandescent bulbs, which tend to be a bit yellow looking. The Yorkim LED puts off a brilliant white light. I was actually surprised just how bright these bulbs really are. The inside of my camper is so much brighter than with the old bulbs. Three of the fixtures inside the camper have two bulbs to give us extra light when we need it. With these bulbs, we don’t really need to turn on the second light. I can’t think of a single thing that I don’t like about this bulb. It is super bright white and really easy to replace. As a quick bit of information, these bulbs are a bit longer than the standard 1156 incandescent bulb. Just make sure you have the clearance in your fixture for the extra length. Mine were a bit tight but I was still able to get them in without a problem. I would highly recommend these for other folks who have campers.

Bulb error on 2013 VW, however very bright
Installed as reverse lights, but they throw the bulb error with my 2013 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI. They do not work with my vehicles CANBUS system. Will be returning due to this. However if they did not throw the error light, I would've kept them, as they are very bright, good build quality, and look nice. 2 stars for product build quality, but stating they are "CANBUS" is incorrect as they clearly do not work with a modern German vehicle CANBUS system.

Maybe 150 lumens, not 3000!
When I put the first Yorkim LED bulb in my lawn tractor I tested it side by side against the original 1156 incandescent bulb that was ~10 years old. Although it was much whiter in color, I assessed the Yorkim bulb to be slightly dimmer than the existing incandescent bulb. I also have a variable brightness Nitecore HC65 headlamp which tops out at 1000 lumens output. I compared the Yorkim brightness to the Nitecore headlamp and it fell right between the 280 and 80 lumens settings. I was gauging the brightness at night based on the light cast against a white garage door at a distance of about 5 feet. The build quality on the bulbs themselves is quite nice, but I was looking for an upgrade in brightness and this definitely isn't it. I am returning these and would not recommend them for anyone looking to increase the brightness over a standard incandescent bulb.

Beware the Bait and Switch
These lights are bright. The problem, is I searched Amazon for "error free turn signal led" for my car. These show up in amber as "error free" which means the lights have a resistor that adds enough electrical load for older cars to think there is a standard bulb inserted and working. The listing showed a choice of a number of colors, red, amber and white. I need white for my rear turn signals. So I chose white. I did not notice that the error-free statement disappears when I switched colors. Now my car is complaining because it checks all bulbs for resistance. I have found a number of "error free" bulbs on amazon do the same "Bait-and-Switch" if you choose anything besides the color amber.

Very bright and inexpensive lights.
Runs much cooler than the original halogens. Very easy to install after you get the tail light housing off your car.

CANBUS error free
For me the most important feature was that the amber lights are actually CANBUS error free. On my Mini Coopers they do throw an error until they are used after start up. The system does not sense them until they flash quickly a few times. After that they operate normally and the error message goes away. I did not find any other so called CANBUS error free bulbs that were this good. Provides high visibility in a low visible auto.

Definitely bright
My Jeep is setup to plow. The OEM lights were useless. Plowing requires a lot of backing up. I need to be able to see what's behind me. These bulbs seem 10 times brighter than the factory ones. However, I have to honestly say, I wouldn't mind if they were even brighter. It's hard to have too much light when you need to see stuff that's 50' behind you.

Great Upgrade for Classic Cars
I used these LEDs to replace the conventional 1156 bulbs that work as reverse lights in my classic car. These LEDs were easy to install, there was no difference between installing these versus conventional bulbs. They are also brighter than the old bulbs and give off a brighter white light as seen in the photo attached to my review (LED on left, old bulb on right)I suggest that anyone who has an old car should invest in these LEDs. The increased visibility of the brake lights will make the vehicle safer without affecting the outward appearance or originality of the car.
