OhO Safety Video Sunglasses, Ultra Full HD Camera with Built-in Memory

I charged the glasses as soon as I took them out. I didn't realize they were recording with NO micro card inserted. I finally inserted a micro card. But it doesn't work like the directions say. I turned them on. When I click that button again to record it only blinks once. It doesn't keep blinking while recording. I tried holding the button down but it turns off. To take a picture doesn't have any indicator either.I removed the card to upload to the computer. The only thing on it was everything I did BEFORE inserting the card... i.e. charging and walking around the house. Now it's not showing me anything nor is the light working like it says. It just blinks once red then cuts off. I hit the reset button with a pin. It's still not any better! But NOW I realize it was already a card in there! The instructions say "insert a micro SD card..." they should inform people that one is already in there because there's a gap that looks like the card goes in even with theirs already in place. Thank God! They look excellent like quality. I will order another pair for prescription later.

Got the job done. Little on the clunky side to use

The video, photo, and sound on these is pretty decent , the video is not choppy , especially if the lighting is good. I got these for cycling, and switched over to the clear lenses as eye shields. It does take some practice to understand the tiny buttons to shoot video versus taking pics. The higher end ones have better frames, more durable, and one is water resistant. That might be worth looking into. I handle these carefully , as they are slightly "creaky", but should survive ok if I don't bang them around a lot. I was psyched that these work with my Chromebook. The fact that you don't have to remove the SD card is totally huge , but insert the micro USB into the glasses slowly and carefully so you don't damage the connection.

I had bought this item to use for my 1 year wedding anniversary trip to Wisconsin Dells this September 2022 however I noticed that when I had recieved this item. The glasses looked tampered with and the micro SD card that came with them was inserted wrong and right away I didn't want to use this equipment. I did fix it and tried recording content it worked fine. However a day later the device wouldn't turn on even after a full charge. If you want a good pair of video shades I wouldn't recomend Oh ho sunshine manufactured shades if my life depended on it.

It works ok its not bad. But i needed something with more video stabilization. The audio isnt good at all. I give this a solid 3 for the quality it gives out.

I bought the glasses just in case to have some evidence if unfortunate things should happen while I am out and about. These glasses have a glossy plastic frame which conceals the camera rather well (most other glasses I checked don’t do that). Moreover, the glasses have a bit of a “cheap” beach-bought look, which is good for my use case and does not make me a target. Lots of other glasses are too fancy for my taste and may draw the attention of robbers.The video quality of the camera is okay, nothing to brag about but sufficient. So is the audio. The camera angle is not wide and a bit upward oriented, so you will not be filming what is exactly in the middle of your view. For evidence purposes it is more than sufficient and can be transferred via USB cable or the mem card onto a computer. There is also a button to take photos. I missed some easy way to time stamp the videos though.The camera comes with a 16GB Mini-SD-card, which can be replaced (camera can use memory cards up to 32 GB), The insertion mechanism is a bit small and soon developed a damage. I would advise not to take out the card too often. Nonetheless, the company was very helpful and refunded the price after some proceedings, so I bought the same glasses again.When recording there is a little red light blinking on the left inner side of the frame. Especially in darker environments this light may be visible for other people, which is sub optimal and may make them suspicious. Definitely a thing which could be improved upon with further iterations. Same goes for the buttons. They are okay and easy to use, nonetheless, I would prefer something more thought out and even easier to use, like a simply on-off switch and a button for quick recording. The batteries provide energy for about an hour of filming, I would estimate. I haven’t checked precisely though.Overall, the quality of the glasses is okay, about what you would expect. For my purpose they are the best and there is not much competition regarding my use case. I do recommend the glasses so far. They leave room for improvement though.

These glasses look straight forward, not down like some of the other glasses. They look pretty normal, not obviously cam glasses. Had to copy "time.txt to root directory of SD card to generate a time stamp. Time stamp is GMT, but that's OK. I tried to create my own time.txt using a text editor on Ubuntu, but the camera must not have liked the file format because it didn't work. The seller sent me another time.txt file, and that worked fine. Seller responded promptly. Update: Glasses worked for about a week, then after charging them up for the third time, they just quit working. Red light would go on, then shut off after about 15 seconds.

Only used a couple of times so far great.

The camera is good. Very discrete camera perfect to capture important moments
