Burley Design Forged Standard Trailer Hitch, 12.2 mm, Silver

We have a Burley child cart that we transformed into a dog buggy. We use this to attach the trailer to our bike and take the dogs for a spin. Worked exactly as expected and ended up getting another one.

It's the same as the one that comes with the trailer. This product is way over priced for what it is, it should only be $5. The lip around the hole where the axle goes is too high and too narrow for one of my bikes axles.

Installed the original hitch that came with the Burley on my wife's bike. Purchased this one for my bike, so we can easily switch it from bike to bike without taking the bike axle out each time.Found it a little pricey for a simple piece of metal, but the convenience is worth it. No regrets.

Broke when my bike fell over. I've only had it for two days. Price is pretty outrageous, too.Burley has switched to a steel hitch instead and is paying this one out.

We have a burley bee trailer and wanted to be able to pull it with either my wife's bike or mine, and didn't want to switch the hitch that it came with back and forth (I did a few times). This is exactly what we needed to be able to do so.

With disc brakes on my bike my wife always got stuck pulling our youngest. This solved the problem! As a matter if fact I bought a second so we can switch the trailer easily for the night she takes the kids herself.

This is a great little hitch, super fast and easy to use with the bike trailer. I had to purchase the little "axel extender" thing because the one on my bike was short so may just look into that when you purchase.

It performs just as the original does and can't complain there, but the price is a little out of control for what it is...
