Use over a white base coat for a spooky looking skeletal army or blood bowl player.
I used this for the skeletons in my Shambling Undead Blood Bowl team. Absolutely perfect colour, it also worked well on my ghoul's teeth I gave them a coat of titanium white before a coat of this and they looked perfectly horrible and monstrous!

Skull painting
If you want a bone color, get wraithbone! Get this if you want to put the shading effect OVER the bone color!Love these citadel skulls! I left them on the stencil things, painted them w citadel wraithbone with a cheap makeup brush, then coated them in seraphim sepia/skeleton horde (these are practically the same), or blood for the blood god (all citadel paints), using the same cheap brush, making sure to clean it first and to get into the eye sockets. My plans are to put them in dice. I hear they float a bit, though, so I may have to do layers or resin orb in dice.

It's a one and done
If you need to quickly paint skeletons just prime them white then add one layer of this and you're done.

Wrong color via citadel
The color you find on any site is wrong. The picture I show is the correct color for the paint. It works good but do not buy expecting the lighter color.

The best!
Citadel paints are simply the best out there. Little more expensive but they work amazingly well, go on easy and make quick work of painting minis

Don't look at the picture color.
I made a mistake in my review. The color was correct but different that picture showed. I am very happy with my purchase. My apologies to the seller.

Product photo is deceiving.
It's a cool contrast but is NOT the light color in the product photo. I tried it over a white primer and did not get a cream color. It did go very well over lighter shades of olive drab green and gave a nice brown contrast which worked perfectly for the toad I painted, but it was intended for use on human flesh, which I do not recommend.
