Ok so this thread isn't all bad BUT... I ordered in black and green. The green had significantly more wax than the black. Actually didn't think that the black had any wax at all until I started using it. The thread is also much looser than a ritza tiger thread, which I am accustomed to using. So, if you are in a pinch it will work fine. Or if you just don't have the budget for ritza I don't think you are compromising the integrity of your leatherwork. With this thread being on the looser side it is much easier to split the thread when stitching. So if you're a newbie it may just be adding difficulty

I love this thread! I don’t particularly like the super waxed thread, so if you do this one will not be for you. You can always add more wax if you desire though. It is also a lot more thread than I thought it would be and the colors are very vibrant. I will be buying more!

I love this cord! It’s fantastic for micro macrame. There is very little wax (which works great for my purposes). I’m still new to the world of waxed cords, but it may be helpful to know the label on the side says it’s Galaces 150D thread. I’ve gotten this exact brand in a few colors from three sellers. I hope Selric gets more colors! Highly recommend you try this brand if you micro macrame.

I hand stitch leather purses and wanted to find more colors than Tandy offers...this was not it. The thread is very thin, too thin, for my purposes. It's not much thicker than embroidery thread, so I can't really use the 3 spools that I purchased. Unfortunate, since the quantity of the thread, the variety of colors, and the price was acceptable.

This was so nice to work with and the Coffee color goes great with the Fiebings Buckskin dye and the Fiebings Dark Brown Antique Finish that I used too. Don’t be afraid to use different colors though if you think it’ll be close enough go for it! Glad I purchased it!

This thread is very thick and feels very good.The color is like a hunter orange or blaze orange. Looks great in leather.

I mean, it is flat waxed thread. Not too waxy. Bigger than I thought it would be, so bonus!

This is my go-to hand stitching thread. The color is really nice with leather.
