I have a small area of flowers and hostas outside the entry door by my garage. Previously, I could not water these plants without being attacked by mosquitoes. We implemented the 5 gallon bucket system with the water, organic yard waste, waited for larvae to hatch and dropped in the donut. Now, no mosquito attack. (We covered the bucket with fence wire and a brick to keep critters out.) We are more than pleased. We have buckets all over our big yard.Previously our family could not use our pool without copious use of bug spray but now that has improved tremendously and it will get better and better as we continue to control the mosquito larvae.I am a believer. Our birds and squirrels are safe, all the forest animals that move through our property are safe. Wow, this deal works.

What Customer should know is that this product is fantastic! It works exactly as it says it does and is very easy to use. I use these every year in my rainwater buckets to kill and or keep mosquitos out of my yard. If you buy the little granules you can broadcast them in your grass to kill the larvae to prevent mosquitos from breeding and hatching in your yard. Excellent product! I would (and have) recommend this to anyone interested in keeping mosquitos away. Not only would I recommend it I have bought these for others who needed them but didn't have the means to get them! That's how well they work. And they are safe around wildlife, pets and kids when used according to the label directions.

i honestly dont know if they work because the skeeters are horrendous where i live in the midwest. ive made 4 dunks of death in my 3/4 acre yard and some lowes buckets. but i still have to cover my body 100% just to water my garden and they even try to bite my eyeballs. how do you know if they work if the mosquitos are so thick.. ? helps me think im doing something to deter them if anything its probably mental,.

This took care of my gnat issue with 3 house plants almost overnight. I wore gloves, broke into several pieces, placed inside an old milk jug, filled with water and set outside for 24 hrs. Note that a good amount did not dissolve and floated to the top of water inside jug. However, evidently that did not seem to matter as enough still seeped into the water. I then poured the typical amount of water in each plant on Day 1. Repeated on Day 5 and Day 10.Five weeks later, I'm still 98% qnat free. But will create this concoction if needed again in the future.This was by far the fastest, cheapest, no-fuss suggestion I discovered throughout a lot of google searches. I was very surprised by how effective and very happy!

Honestly I thought this would take more work to set up and wouldn't make a difference.It was embarrassing easy since I already had the container with material in it... That's the problem right, we all do. I had to put a reminder on my calendar to add a new one at 30 days because it's me forgetting that is the problem not the dunk.If you have mosquito problems but are 100% sure you don't have standing water anywhere. Just try it anyways.I think it only doesn't work well if you don't have their happy place inviting enough. The more discussing the better.

I put these in our outdoor water fountain. It doesn’t clog the filter system. This is standing water that would normally be a breeding ground for mosquitos, but there are none. The fountain has 3 tiers but you only need one for the whole fountain. I have also used this in a part of the yard that accumulates standing water and it works there too! One is enough for a much larger pool of water than what I use it for. They last for a good while too!

We have had terrible mosquitoes over the past many years, it was intolerable sitting outside even w mosquito spray on. I started using these in my yard where water collects and my fish pond. This year I also placed buckets of water w straw and the dunks. Word of caution I don’t know if it is associated or not but since I started using in my fish pond my goldfish no longer have babies every spring. The trade off however was worth it since starting. We can now enjoy our yard and gardens.
